In July 2015 a garbage disposal crisis sparked a series of protests which turned into an all out public outcry about practically evreything that's wrong with the ocuntry, but primarily about political corruption and stagnation.
A popular slogan chanted often was: "Ashab, yurid isqat anizam" ("The people want to topple the regime")
